Having been identified as a potential star at a young age, JP Duminy made his one-day international debut in 2004. The left-hander become a regular in the ODI side building a solid average of more than 37 throughout his career to date. An energetic fielder, Duminy also proved to be a handy spin bowler, giving some assistance to South Africa’s strong line-up of quicks. He has taken more than 40 wickets in Tests and more than 60 in ODI’s. JP retired from all forms of cricket in July 2019.
JP has an incredible passion for #SportForGood and giving back to the community. Therefore in 2015, JP founded the JP21 Foundation. The foundation s dedicated to revitalizing the game of cricket in underdeveloped communities and schools. Communities riddled by gang violence and substance abuse. With a population of over 1 MILLION PEOPLE, the JP21 FOUNDATION has an opportunity to make a real impact in the children’s lives within this community.
