Laureus Ambassadors visit CoolPlay at Masibambane High School On Tuesday, September 10th, Masibambane High School (Kraaifontein) was buzzing with excitement as Laureus Sport for Good visited at Masibambane High School, for an incredible afternoon of true Sport for Good. A star-studded line-up of Laureus Ambassadors, including Cheslin Kolbe, Wayde van Niekerk, Natalie du Toit, and Jean de Villiers, inspired the next generation of athletes. Fifty CoolPlay participants from Kraaifontein and a girl’s rugby team from Cloetesville gathered to enjoy an afternoon of fun, with a focus on rugby drills and life skills – proving that CoolPlay is SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST SPORT. The life skills theme for the day was communication and keeping calm under pressure. The Laureus Ambassadors shared their personal stories and valuable insights, helping the participants develop essential skills for both sports and life. Special thanks to the French Consul General, Sophie Bel, for joining us and experiencing the power of sport for development. With PURA Soda ensuring that everyone was kept cool and hydrated throughout the day.
